The ways to help us and to promote us are numerous. And you don't have to be an expert in ethics to volunteer for most activities with Your Code of Ethics. The number of volunteering possibilities are almost limitless. We offer here some of the possibilities, and we invite you to if you have any ideas for how you'd like to volunteer. Here are a few:
- If you're an intelligent person who has a sense of what's right and what's wrong, or what's honorable and what's not, then you can offer your comments or advice by using the "Comments" button at the appropriate codes category section (see the Categories links on the right).
- Come up with new ways to promote your own codes (see the FAQs about codes, pledges, and so on: How to Promote Them category for examples of how others have promoted codes, etc.)
- Suggest improvements to this website; offer improved text or graphics, or alert us to broken links.
- Submit links to online resources that relate to codes.
- Place a Your Code of Ethics logo on your own website (click here for details).
- Wherever you can, place an html link to us on your website; the more links we get, the more people learn about our site (and the better position we get on the major search engines!).
- Work on a project to promote adopting a code of ethics for your school, your company, your organization, or your profession.
- Work on a project to promote awareness of your school's, company's, or organization's code of ethics.
